Open to the Public All exhibits, Vendor’s Alley, the Presenter’s Galley, Give it Your Best Shot… are open to the public Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Presenter’s Gallery Several of our presenters will have prints up in the Presenters’ Gallery adjacent to Vendor’s Alley. Humboldt County Library “Stop the Car, Dad!” — Photographs of Roadside Attractions, an exhibit of twenty-four photographs by the late Erik Lauritzen, will be on display at the library during the symposium. Sponsored by the Nevada Arts Council. Sam Hipkins’ Vintage Camera Collection Sam has graciously agreed to bring a large selection of his wonderful camera collection. They will be displayed in the East Hall and in front of the Presenters Gallery. The cameras range in age from c. 1897 to 1954. Digital Sensor Cleaning The Camera Clinic, of Sparks, Nevada, is going to be offering on-site digital sensor cleaning. Cost will be $50.00 with a small portion going to support Shooting the West. Take advantage of this convenient opportunity, and help out the cause at the same time! Gordon’s Photo Service refers repairs to The Camera Clinic, and they have an impeccable reputation for quality work. The Camera Clinic Specializes in Canon and Nikon digital camera and lens repair including digital sensor cleaning. Epson We’ll have both consumer and professional reps from Epson with a full range of printers and papers. Floating Island Press Michael Sykes specializes in photography books, new, used, and out-of-print. Gordon's Photo Service Gordon’s is a full line camera store. They’ll have lots of gadgets, bags, books, storage cards, etc. Hasselblad Jeff Payne will represent the camera that went to the moon. Are they digital? Yes, in a big way! Pictureline Pictureline is a professionally oriented camera store in Salt Lake City. They are here with Hasselblad and Epson professional. RANGE C.J. Hadley will be offering subscriptions, books, T-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. Shooting the West Retail Shooting the West will be providing books, DVD’s, and other media authored by our presenters. University of Nevada Press U.N. Press will have many titles — lots of books about Nevada and the Great Basin, photography books, and more.
