About Shooting the West Workshops

richard-teaching

Our workshops cover a diverse range of photographic topics, and are taught by extremely qualified individuals. True to the spirit of Shooting the West, these classes also represent terrific value. Similar workshops through university and/or private programs are much more expensive. Our instructors are committed to the event, and they give generously of their time and talents.

We hope you’ll take advantage of these learning opportunities. Click on specific workshops to go to a detailed description and instructor bio.

Introduction to Photographic Craft and Understanding Your Digital Camera are both “beginning” classes, one concentrating on techniques and one on hardware. They are both stand-alone classes, but they also work well when taken together.
